OKO Studio

OKO Studio is an artist-run nonprofit based in Dayton, OH, focused on creating impactful art experiences that go beyond the traditional gallery space. We combine exhibition-making, placemaking, and performance to produce immersive events that blend visual art, music, and cultural expression in ways that spark dialogue and deepen engagement.

Our programming highlights emerging and underrepresented voices through pop-up shows, collaborative installations, and hands-on workshops that prioritize experimentation and connection. We also publish OK OHIO, a quarterly art and culture zine featuring a curated mix of local, national, and international creatives—amplifying new perspectives across disciplines.

announcement!

We've hinted at putting out music and now we've gone and done the thing.  Recorded in Dayton in Jeff B's basement in the mid-to-late-1980s, MT-40 for Me is a seven-song collection performed by the city's synth-pop queen — the legendary, chanteuse and underground celebutante idol, the glamazon, Debbie DeCasio — now remixed and remastered from the original short-run cassette, for the first time on CD. The album's title is a love letter to DeCasio's favorite electronic keyboard.
You can nab yours at Skeleton Dust Records and Omega Records in Dayton, OH, or order online by sending $7 to @OKOhio (Venmo) with your name, address and item.

Remixed and remastered by Cody Wopshaw at Now What! Studio.
